• Documents may be signed using a secure electronic signature and a time stamp. If a document must be signed by multiple persons, it may be submitted electronically only if all signatories have an electronic signature.

• At a sworn notary.

• At the Orphan’s Court (Bāriņtiesa), according to the declared place of residence (if the person has a personal identity number of the Republic of Latvia), if there is no notary in the municipality, city, or parish.

When submitting documents in paper form, it is necessary to certify signatures on the following documents: 

• application form KR4;

• the Division of the Register of Shareholders;

• the consent of each member of the executive board to hold office (if the consent is included in the application, the signature on the application may be certified).
