1. Summary

A merchant has the right to voluntarily suspend its activities for a period not exceeding three years. The activities of the merchant are suspended on the day on which information regarding the suspension of activities is entered in the commercial register. Before adopting a decision on suspension of activities, the merchant must submit to the Register of Enterprises a notification to creditors regarding the intention to suspend activities.

Please note that, in accordance with the Commercial Law, shareholders or stockholders have the right to participate in and vote at a meeting remotely or to vote prior to the meeting.
