Before adopting a decision on suspension of the company's activities, the merchant shall submit to the Register of Enterprises a notification to creditors regarding the intention to suspend activities. The Register of Enterprises shall publish the notification regarding the company's intention to suspend activities on its information website at https://info.ur.gov.lv. After expiry of the time period for creditors to submit claims, the shareholders’ meeting or the shareholder shall adopt a decision on suspension of activities.

The notification must specify:

• the merchant's firm name, registration number and legal address;
• the place and time period for creditors to submit claims, which may not be shorter than one month from the date of publication of the notification.

The notification shall be signed by the company's executive board. The notification shall be submitted electronically, signed with a secure electronic signature, via e-address or by email to pasts@ur.gov.lv. A notification prepared in paper form shall be sent by post.
